Answer

UTEP Library subscribes to over 300 electronic databases for articles and other resouces. You can browse the databases by subject or alphabetically.

By subject: Use the scroll bar under Search databases by subject or category. Find the most appropriate subject or category for your research, and click on Submit Search.

You will be taken to a page with an alphabetical list, with databases associated with that particular subject/category. Each database has a brief description and/or access information. To access a database click on the link with the name of the database desired.

Note: If you are in campus, or off campus using the Virtual Private Networking (VPN); you will automatically be taken to the database. If you are off campus, and no VPN set up; you will be prompt with a login screen to identify that you are a UTEP student, faculty, or staff.

Alphabetically: If you know the name of the database, utilize the Alphabetical list of database title option. Click on the letter which name of database begins with.

You will be taken to a page with an alphabetical list, with databases starting with the letter chosen. Click on the desired database, and you will be taken to a page with basic information about the database chosen. To access the database click once more in the link with database name.

Note: If you are in campus, or off campus using the Virtual Private Networking (VPN); you will automatically be taken to the database. If you are off campus, and no VPN set up; you will be prompt with a login screen to identify you are a UTEP student, faculty, or staff.
