I found the article that I want but it’s not provided in full text. What are my options?

Answer

  1. Use the Journal Title tab located in the Library’s home page to determine if the Library has an online subscription to that journal. Type the complete name of the journal in the search box.  The system will then retrieve a list of entries with the title you typed.

  2. Click on the journal title you’re looking for to see complete electronic access options.

  3. View a list of links to the online full text of the electronic journal in various subscription databases. Depending on the desired publication year, click on the link to view the e-journal.

If the Library does not subscribe to the journal, you may request the article through our Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL) which is a free service. You sign in with your UTEP username and password, and the first time you sign in you will be asked to set up your profile before you submit your request. Once you set up your account, another page will display requesting information for the item, e.g. author, title, etc. It generally takes 2-3 working days to receive copies of the article.
